This Privacy Policy explains how SideStory collects, uses, and discloses your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Data: We collect your email address and basic profile information when you authenticate via Google.
• User Content: We store the prompts, character definitions, and narrative choices you input to generate stories.
• Payment Data: We do not store full credit card details. Financial transactions are securely processed directly by Polar.

2. Third-Party Subprocessors

We share minimal necessary data with trusted providers to operate SideStory:

• Supabase: For secure database hosting and user authentication.
• Polar: For subscription and Spark pack payment processing.
• Resend: For delivering transactional emails and magic links.
• Google (Gemini): For processing text prompts and generating story content.

3. AI Training and Your Data

We respect your creative ownership. The prompts you submit and the stories generated are used solely to fulfill your requests. We do not use your private User Content to train our underlying AI models.

4. Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. You can use the "Delete Account" feature in your settings to permanently wipe your profile, Sparks balance, and generated stories from our active databases.
